Coming off of a losing day on Tuesday going 3-4. Looking to right the ship today.

Dayton +15 - This line is overinflated. Dayton is not as strong on road but in a big game like this, 15 is way too many. (win)

Indiana -3.5 - Indiana can't afford to slip against an inferior Penn State team. They will take care of business. (win)

Memphis -3.5 - Memphis, similar to Hoosiers, cant afford slip up and are the superior team.
(win)
Virginia Tech pk - Georgetown simply is not a very good basketball team. Va Tech has played better of late against the likes of Syracuse and others. Hokies roll. (win)

Kent State -15 - A lot of points to lay but Kent State has been making push in MAC. Buffalo has played well of late but it ends tonight.(loss)

Fordham +11 - Live dog here vs GW. Fordham will keep it close and maybe pull the upset. (push)

Providence +1.5 - Friars are a strong mental team while Villanova fails in these type of games. Though it is a big game for Cats, Friars get the job done. (win)

Rhode Island -3 - Rams are better than Temple this year and this is a good warmup to upcoming battles with St. Joe's and their attempt to ruin perfect season for Nelson and co. (loss)

So. Illinois -15.5 - Saluki's have way too much for Bulldogs in this one and looking to play first game since becoming ranked. (win)

Iowa +3 - Iowa is better team than Northwestern who beat Badgers on Saturday and they play better at home than on road. Wade back for Wisconsin but Iowa still pulls upset. (win)

Tennessee -7.5 - Arkansas has been terrible on road in SEC. Tennessee lost to Georgia Tech on Saturday at home and they will be focused to get win in this one. (loss)

Northern Iowa -4 - NI has been playing well of late though it doesn't show up in win column. They breakthrough against Bears. (win)

Creighton -14 - Bluejays are angry coming off of loss to Salukis. They will take it out on Bradley. (win)

Depaul +5 - Blue Demons are live here as they look to win important road game. (win)

Kansas State -6 - Cyclones have been horrid of late as they even lost at home by 21 to OSU. It continues in Manhattan. (win)

I have a lot of plays today but I do like them all. Best of luck.

Mr. Green,

I agree it is a lot of plays but a rule I have is that I don't have a minimum or a maximum on number of plays in a day. I base it completely on the game and if I see value. Some days there might be 1 play while another 20. I believe it is important to not bet a solid game just because you are playing several that day already. Best of luck and thanks for your support.

WHOA! that's alot of plays, you can't possibly be profitable with that many plays. Did you hit say you have been hitting about 50% this year? I am guessing with an small average of say 7 games a day @ 100 dollars a day you are giving 9 dollars in juice *7 plays a day * about 65 days = 4095 dollars in juice over the course of the season!! that's a conservative estimate

Kojak,
I have seen you hit large cards before so no worries.I agree with RI,S.Ill.,Creighton,and Tennessee.

As for Depaul,I was trying to come up with reasons to like St.Louis thinking they will end their losing streak, but all the stats point to Depaul.Looks like they will have too much of an inside advantage to warrant laying points on St.Louis.

As for your situation with the don, you tried to help a person that shares the same passion as we all do.Bad judgment perhaps, but I can definitely tell you are the kind of person that sincerely cares about others in general. You have nothing to be ashamed of and let's all move forward.

Best of luck tonight.

cappthespread,

If you have followed me for awile, you would see that I have hit some large cards and lost some large cards. On Sunday, I had only 1 play in Duke. So like I said above, I base it on the day not the number of games. I would be surprised if at least 2/3rds don't cover. If they don't there is always another day. I can tell you overall for the year, I am at slightly under 61% and it would have been a lot higher except that I have had over the past 60 days about 3-4 dozen bad beats of 1 pt losses, losses in overtimes on large spreads (San Diego St. Monday night) or blowing large leads late to not cover. But as we know that is part of the game. Best of luck to you.

Low Tide,

I am glad to see that we agree on several games. I always follow your picks and several others and it always a good sign when we all agree. Thanks again for your support and definitely will try to move forward. I have ended all contact after last threatening email. Best of luck.

If he plays everything at 105 outs like pinnacle and iis, you are dead wrong. Also, the best gambler in the world bets more games than that. His name is billy walters. God it must hurt to show the whole world your ignorance.

Having a pretty good night so far with wins with Dayton,Indiana,Memphis,Va Tech,Providence, and SC/Miss St. over. Only losses are Kent State and Rhode Island with a push with Fordham. Overall record on day at 6-2-1. Several late games looking good or are still within range. Stay tuned.

Well the night went from a good night to a great night with more wins with Iowa, No. Iowa, Creighton, Depaul, Kansas State, and So. Illinois with only loser Tennessee. Final overall record on night is 12-3-1 (80%) though my push on the forum was also a winner when I bet it as I got 11.5 on Fordham. Nice bounce back night from 3-4 last night. I will be back later with Thursday's selection.

action,

I appreciate the kind words. The only tips I can say is to study hard and watch lots of games. The eyes do more for winning than the statistics can. Many of times statistics are very misleading. Also, I put a lot of stock into motivation and home/road records. Anyway, best of luck and keep up the great work.
